Title (Max 100 Characters)
Texarkana drivers who frequent Hwy. 245 may face traffic delays as the state's Highway Department installs new overhead signs.
Highway Department crews will start hanging the two overhead metal signs at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12 and should be finished by 5 a.m. the next day, weather permitting.
Traffic heading north and south on Hwy. 245 may be stopped during the installation, but the delays shouldn't be more than 15 minutes.
The two overhead signs will span the north and southbound lanes of Hwy. 245 between S. State Line Ave. and Hwy. 549. S. State Line Ave. and Hwy. 549 will not be affected.
The Arkansas Highway Department asks all motorists to exercise caution as they approach and drive through highway work zones.
