During the Texas Arts Education Association Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE), Ginger Moore, Texas High School sophomore, was one of 150 State Qualifiers honored with a Gold Seal for her artwork.  Over 1,500 state qualifying students attended the event that was held in Bryan, TX on April 4.

The Texas University Interscholastic League announced the qualifiers for their upcoming 2013 Class 4A Swimming and Diving Championships to be held on February 22 and 23 at the Jamail University of Texas Aquatic Center, and the Texas High Tigersharks look to be well represented for the task of pursuing their first State Championship in several years.

If you are interested in your student applying to The Ross Perot STEM Academy at Texas High School then you will want to join Texarkana Independent School District for their upcoming Parent Informational Meeting.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, in the John Thomas Theatre, 3941 Summerhill Road.  During the meeting, parents/guardians will learn about the application & selection process as well as further details on the academy program.
