TISD seeks applicants for District 2 board position | Business

TISD will accept letters of interest for the District 2 position on the Board of Trustees left vacant due to the recent death of Dr. James S. Grant. 

Letters of interest will be accepted from December 10 – 21.  The unexpired term will be filled through an appointment until an election is held in May 2013. 

All letters of interest should be delivered to Brenda Perkins, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent, 4241 Summerhill Road, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.  They can also be mailed to:  Brenda Perkins, TISD,       4241 Summerhill Road, Texarkana, Texas  75503.

Dr. Grant passed away on November 17, 2012. He had served on the TISD Board of Trustees for District 2 since 1995.
